Fresh Out The Box 2003!!!

Long before "sneaker collecting" was fashionable in the mainstream world, yours truly, along with a good friend, Adam "AirRev" Leaventon put together the quintessential vintage sneaker showcase in New York City in 2003.

Hip Hop Theatre Festival 2008

The Hip Hop Theatre Festival is an annual week-long (July 7-12) festival held in July in DC, featuring national and international artists. Enjoy a variety of performances of both new and established hip hop music.

All events are free and seating is available on a first come, first serve basis.

MEMORIAL DAY SALE!!!

MAJOR Gradient Safari Fitted... Coming Real Soon!

Some of you got the first glimpse of the new MAJOR fitted on this post.

Now you get to see better pictures of the fitted, before we shoot the official NewsChannel post.


As you can see the pattern is our beloved Safari pattern, but with our new design twist. The color of the Safari pattern fades from Dark Purple to Teal. Thanks to Shawn C., who executed this pattern, we were able to achieve a true gradient pattern, printed on white cotton for that crispy summer look.

This cap took over a year from concept to production. Some of you have seen me rock the sample on occasions, and we made subtle changes to make sure that our customers get the best fitted possible, the MAJOR way!

This will be the first official Summer drop for the year, but we will have many more MAJOR releases coming, including DC 4th of July Celebration Cap & 8.8.08 Beijing Olympic Edition caps.

MAJOR Forever!

Our MAJOR Trinity Logo is very close to our hearts, and symbolizes our DC roots in a truly iconic manner. Designed by my good friend, Dheen Weening, a former creative director for TRUE SF, this logo has been embraced by everyone in the DMV, and people all over the world!

It's totally another level of respect for the Trinity to see it in the form of a tattoo. Big shouts to Luis for getting inked, and sending us the flick.

MAJOR & The Hundreds & Skillz

Today, in the midst of our busy day @ MAJOR, a friend of mine stops through and tells me that one of our MAJOR fitteds made an appearance on The 07 Rap Up video by Skillz. It's in all the scenes that Skillz is at The Hundreds store.
I didn't even know that our DMV Fitted made it into Skillz' video, as I was paying attention to the song and not what he was rocking, but when we checked it out, Skillz was definitely rocking The MAJOR fitted, in front of one of our favorite brand partners in the business, The Hundreds Store in Los Angeles. Big ups to Skillz, Chris Robinson & the whole Robot Films crew, and of course, The Legendary Roots Crew, with whom Skillz is embarking on a 35 city tour next week.

Oh, the friend of mine that stopped by the store and told me about the video? It was Skillz himself. We definitely appreciate the support, and all of you should go check him out on tour in Europe and Asia this year!
