Fresh Out The Box 2003!!!

Long before "sneaker collecting" was fashionable in the mainstream world, yours truly, along with a good friend, Adam "AirRev" Leaventon put together the quintessential vintage sneaker showcase in New York City in 2003.

"Fresh Out The Box" was the first, and to date, the only serious showcase of true vintage and rare sneaker showcase that also combined art, entertainment, and celebrity with our beloved drug habit of choice, kicks.

Adam just e-mailed me the link to a blog post, where they are paying homage to FOTB.


It's also weird to see Adam (Puma), me (MAJOR), and RetroKid (Nike) evolve into sneaker industry people, when we were the ultimate consumers back in the day!
